Albany pitcher plant family | Cephalotaceae

Cephalotaceae | Cefalotáceas

One genus with one species, in a strip a few hundred kilometres long on the south coast of Western Australia. The plant carries two kinds of leaf at once: ordinary flat leaves for light, and among them small pitchers with three hairy ribs, a ribbed rim and a lid with translucent windows. Nothing else in the order resembles it.
